This is a tutorial for how to make a clone effect using Magix video software. I used Magix Pro 14 but this also works in other Magix video editors. The song is public domain. Saint Louis Blues is an old standard Blues song written by WC Handy. Bessie Smith and Louis Armstrong did wonderful versions of Saint Louis Blues. Other great videos of the song include a youtube video by Adam Swanson and a piano version by jazzpianomarvin The mic near the keyboard is a Shure SM57 which is plugged into a small Behringer amplifier. I use that only to get the sound closer to the camera. All the sound in this video is recorded directly into the camera, a ZR500 Canon. When cloning, the camera is never moved when the actor changes from character one to character two. The camera is never turned off between characters. The camera is never touched or moved. The final long piece of video is chopped into two videos and placed on two video tracks and synched.
