Vincent Price and Agnes Moorhead star in this 1959 film about strange goings on in an old house. The house is called The Oaks and has over $1000 000 worth of stolen securites hidden somewhere inside it. It seems that everyone is looking for the money too and who can blame them? The only problem is that a dangerous criminal, known only as The Bat, is also looking for the missing loot. The Bat kills his victims by ripping their throats out with a steel claw and doesn't seem to have a face. Perhaps mystery author Cornelia van Gorder (Moorhouse) will be able to put a face to the crimes and, if her answer's on the money, find the missing securiteis as well.
