The Terror is a 1963 horror film and stars Jack Nicholson, Boris Karloff, Sandra Knight and Dick Miller.

Nicholson stars as Lieutenant Andre Duvalier, an officer in the French army. Separated from his regiment, he finds himself riding along a secluded beach with only his horse for company. As the sun beats down mercilessly on his head, Andre topples from his horse.

When he awakes the first think he sees is they mysterious and beautiful Helene. He is captivated immediately and chases after her. He seems to spend the rest of the film continuing to do so, with his efforts being hindered at every step of the way by a witch, a reclusive Baron and a rather viscious bird of prey.

As the story unfolds, it begins to seem that Andre might be chasing a ghost!
